Litter Update from 2010 with A Twist

The photo I took to the the left was taken in January 2010. Yes I may be moaning again but in January 2020 Ten years later I am absolutley appauled at the disrespect people in general have for Wildlife, Countryside, Places where other people live and generally don't give a flying S*** .  I am sorry if my  strong language offends. My circumstances have changed a little bit in the last 6 months, which is allowing me more time to take more notice of what is happening around me. With reference to litter The photo to the left is mild to what we suddenly have. Its OK to moan about it but what am I going to do about it. General Global Thoughts! Global Warming! Foot Prints.

I am about to embark on a 5 day virtual course . I sit here and hope the Broadband speed will perform as well as it has been doing in the last few months. It doesn’t matter what my course is suffice to say it is something to do with Databases and Software. This time next week I will be learning real time with like minded people from across the Globe via the (Internet and Broadband) I could have waited for a real human course however courses are everywhere but West Midlands. I didn’t feel obliged to doing damage to my wallet/purse or my own Carbo footprint. I have picked up the Gaunlet and thought, I dont want to spend money on petrol, hotels, waste time travelling and decided that doing a virtual course online would not only save me time and money. It would go a small way to decreasing my carbon footprint. I really do understand that there is a requirement to have some meetings Face to Face in person/groups. The internet will never quite take the place of real life contact.

I have to share this with you all. Earlswood Lakes, Terry’s Pool. For many reasons Paul and I hadn’t walked around The Lakes for a long time. On Saturday 11th January 2020. I packed the dog in to my little car and had a firm plan that Paul & I would walk the dog around the lakes. I actually can’t remember walking Buds around Earlswood Lakes previously. In fact the last time I walked any part of the lakes was as part of a rememberance for a member of our family probably Feb 2017. In any case our walk in 2020 was a very pleasant surprise. I can’t tell you or explain how much hard work has been done by local volunteers, local organisations & those providing grants. The whole experience was very different and the hard work that must have gone in to preserving wild life, foot paths, litter free  (Almost) some selfish Barsteward managed to leave A calling card.  Tree care, Birds, Bats and little Critas. The feeder was clear and flowing and I really can’t remember the last time
