Forshaw Heath & Earlswood BoD in Warwickshire

Oh well here I go on a rant and  a Ramble. For quite a while now I have been driving down Poolhead Lane and seeing new homes being built. I suspect they will be very beautiful inside and the new occupants probably won't be on the affordable homes list. For the life of me I can't understand why or why the three new builds in Poolhead Lane got planning permission. They are not in keeping with the openness of Greenbelt. From my personal perspective they are interesting but don't belong in Poolhead Lane. They are ugly and don't enhance or even give any sympathy to their neighbours, Greenbelt or the surrounding areas. They stick out like a sore thumb. Has anyone actually seen them. OMG if you haven't then take a look on the video below. It is incumbent of all of us that live in the Tanworth in Arden Parish, which includes Earlswood and Forshaw Heath to keep an eye on planning applications. What a week I have had, this year for one reason and another the Other Half and I decided we would spend our two week holiday at home instead of abroad and concentrate on all the things that always needed doing but we just hadn’t got around to doing. My other half is doing his bit for harmony at home and I almost have a new bath fitted :-) however my part of the holiday has take somewhat of an unexpected turn and off I have gone on a planning adventure. I really do wish I wouldn't do it at times - learning curves that is because nothing is ever as simple as it first appears. For one reason and another I keep finding my self communicating with our Local District Council and have been flung into the world of planning and planning applications. What an adventure it has turned out to be. OK so I know this is a Forshaw Heath & Earlswood in Warwickshire blog but I am also concerned about some of the suggested development in the Tidbury  Green area and share the residents concerns.  For those of us that live so close to county borders we really do need to work together in order to protect the environment we live in from being eaten away.  My concerns are also about the impact additional traffic could have as I also live on the cut through to the M42 junction and now don't even contemplate walking to the local station. I sort of felt like I was missing something a bit like a piece of the jigsaw was missing and I was to find out later there was.
