Broadband In & Around Earlswood Warwickshire

What is it about living in the countryside if you can call it that any more that excludes us from most the urban standards. Well I have just contradicted myself I live in the countryside because it isn't urban.

But this does puzzel me

As I watch the BT adverts on TV for their new speedy Broadband of 40 MB, I am still struggling to get 3 if I am lucky.

Two is enough for me as I remember the good old days of dial up but it really does irk me that they can't get us stick dwellers upto or near 8MB before giving everyone else their 40.

To top it all BT called yesterday to offer me a deal on the TV package the fact my broadband speed couldn't deal with it appeared to be irrelevant they and they still tried to sell me the package.

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
