More Noise

Blimey its not enough to have noise on a Friday and Saturday night we now have it on a Wednesday night. Once again a bloke bellowiing over a microphone. I am glad I am not a Business person wanting a quiet B&B and somewhere to rest my head for an important meeting the following morning. Its bad enough living a couple of hundred metres from the culpret.

It started at 20:30hrs and I eventually got to sleep and am unsure as to when it finished. I am so fedup of it.

Am I going to name and shame. No I am not going to provide a link or name the B&B concerned. That would be more free advertising for them.

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
