Gain confidence in using 'online' facilities - course enrolling now!!!

Our UK Online Centre, at Elizabeth House, offers free training to anyone in need of catching up with, and getting onboard, the ‘online digital age'. In other words learning how to make best use of the Web, email, and other important IT topics of interest, confidently - through online learning.
What's on offer for free:
Signup for up to 10 weeks, and, if you wish, continue from home during and after that period

One and half hours of support each week at the Council

Work at your own pace through the coursework

Get a certificate for each course you complete

Come away with your own email address as part of the deal

To do the course it is preferred you have some experience using a mouse and keyboard, but more importantly a dollop of enthusiasm and motivation to learn.
Currently we have places on Monday afternoon, Wednesday morning and Friday afternoon – bookings on first come first served.

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Stratford-on-Avon District Proposed Submission Core Strategy Regulation 19, 20 and 35 of the Town and Country Planning (Local Planning) (England) Regulations 2012 https://www.stratford.gov.uk/planning/proposed-submission-representation-form.cfm/form/cspropsubs14/q/1 I am writing to inform you that the District Council has approved its Core Strategy for submission to the Secretary of State for independent examination. Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
