I Heard It Through The Grape Vine!

Silly season has begun, The noise has started again admittedly not from the usual source for which I am grateful.

It started off at about 20:30 last night with I heard it through the Grape Vine blasting out. Where it was coming from I don't know but I sure as hell heard it!

It was still going on at 3am this morning well as long as all those attending what ever party or function it was enjoyed themselves sod the rest of us.

I sound like a real kill joy I really don't mean to be. I feel a little bit grumpy this morning, probably something to do with lack of sleep due to noise

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
