CYCLESOLIHULL, the volunteer cycling group, has launched its spring and summer programme of Community Cycle Rides with an even wider range of rides planned.
Highlight of the nearly 50 rides in the programme is a new regular monthly short ‘Taster Ride’ which is ideal for families and beginners and anyone preferring a short sociable ride.
Ride co-ordinator Stephen Holt said “We regularly have families coming on the rides so we hope the increased number of short rides will encourage more to join them.”
People who enjoy longer rides have not been forgotten with three rides over 15 miles taking place each month
“We hope our new programme will provide something for every one” said Stephen.
The new programme starts this Sunday (April 3) with a 17 mile ride from Cheswick Green shops at 2 pm. The first Taster Ride is from Dickens Heath library on Sunday April 10, also at 2 pm. Cyclesolihull rides are free and include a refreshment stop - simply turn up with your bike at the start point.
