Sometimes you just have to share something with someone.

I work for a small organisation that appears to have accumulated a fair amount of redundant IT equipment. It all works it just never got disposed of when upgrades etc happened .

Circumstances dictate that we are moving and we didn't want to take all those things we had saved over the past few years with us.

We have not got the right Bins at work to just throw the stuff in a Bin.

I was left wondering how much it would cost for the removal of our redundant IT equipment.

What's more in our case they did it within 24hrs no hassle, great customer service from the initial phone call to the collection of our homeless IT.

I think we may have been lucky and called at the right time for the 24 hr collection but it was an added bonus and it worked for us.

I just thought I would share it with you.

The only advice I would give is to have the IT equipment you don't want gathered together before calling. The reasons being

Knowing exactly what you have and the quantities
If it is a short notice collection it's there ready to go without delving in corners and wasting time.

I do not know if there is a minimum or maximum collection limit and we did not dispose of CPU's

Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
