Noise

Well here I am almost back to normal and scribbling away quite happily. It's wedding season and the noise has started again.

Which p**** gave a B&B permission to have an entertainment licence in the middle of no where.

Last Saturday the noise slowly got louder and louder and by 11 ish I was once again hearing the awful racket and the bloke on his microphone

I obviously don't begrudge people getting married and having their evening celebrations, I don't begrudge a local business trying to make a living.

What I do begrudge is the noise and wonder why permission was granted for a local business to make money to the detrimental affect of the quality of life to those living close by.

I am expecting the same tonight,

LOL It worse than the Women grunting at Wimbledon they have a noise machine to measure their grunts

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
