All Confused - Googled Out

Oh well I was going to have a productive day doing my Domestic Goddess duties.However here I am again glued to the wonders of the web. I blame Mike at wiK for introducing me to Googles circles and +1 

I suspect with time I will get the hang of it. 

However I must admit I am having to use the little grey cells.  I am surprised if you pass a comment on a post in google it doesn't show up on the blog Hey Ho. 

Also I wonder if it affects the stats on the blog, not that I am to bothered but my blog has quietened down over the past few days. I always said I didn't mind chattering away to myself.I seem to have bored my regular visitors and they have disappeared.

I am quite interested in the newsletter tool however then again if I write a newsletter whats the point of blogging. I still haven't got to grips with facebook and am almost surprised it appears to be more popular than Twitter.

I am a twitter fan now and all those months ago I really wasn't interested in it at all.

My top post of all time is still the Police Watch message posted in May with 53 views excluding my own 2nd place was Earlswood Methodist Church Fete and in 3rd place was Earlswood Lakes Partnership.

It really just goes to show people are interested in things that are local and that affect them directly.

    In my view, anyone using Google Products must have an active G+ profile as it integrates all the existing Gmail, Blogger, YouTube and Picasa Photos.

    Stick with it and figure out the circles as Twitter works as follow/unfollow that's it. G+ is a grower, better when you can add a UK phone number, but that will come. Enjoy.

    I suppose the next thing I have to do is You Tube. Don't you some times think there is so much choice it is confusing.

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Core Strategy Consultation Period Stratford on Avon District

Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
