Rude People

I just can’t get over how rude some people are. Recently at work we advertised for additional members of staff and were promptly inundated with applicants, so many people with so much to offer. Having sifted through the CVs which really wasn’t easy at all. Well in any case we eventually managed to get it down to a manageable amount of people we wanted to invite forward for interview. On the bottom of the invitation to interview was a polite request that if applicants felt the role was unsuitable or had a change of heart about the job could they please let us know asap so as we could give someone else the opportunity to attend. Even after that polite request 2 of our applicants didn’t bother.

I really am so disappointed and annoyed that these two people denied someone else the opportunity of attending the interview and the possibility of a job.

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
