Laptop Vs Desktop

My Laptop is one of the loves of my life.
A few weeks ago disaster struck and I wasn’t the happiest teddy on the planet. My laptop was on the floor and I sort of tripped and fell on it. In the process of doing so I damaged it’s screen quite badly, which was a nightmare because I couldn’t see what was happening at the bottom right hand corner of the screen.
The laptop other than the screen is quite functional and doesn’t appear to have suffered.
Having struggled with the broken screen for a few weeks, I have now attached an old monitor via the VGA socket and a wireless keyboard and mouse.
All of it is working beautifully.
So I now have a question? Why are desktop computers or CPUs so big and Bulky surely when they could be as small as a laptop?
Think of the office space we would all save!

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
