What's Wrong?

This post is written irrelevant of my political persuasion (I don’t even know if I have one any more)

I am really glad I am not a Prime minister or responsible for trying to get the country back on it’s feet. There is so much wrong and it’s all so complicated.I just wouldn’t know where to start trying to put it right.

I don’t blame any one political party for the state we appear to be in I just think it’s an accumulation of successive mistakes errors and quick fix sticking plasters, instead of getting to the route causes. It happens at all levels, whether it be personal, business or anything else.

I just think that the basics have gone out of society.

Knowing the difference between Right and Wrong
The use of common sense
Pride
Politeness and respect

I think Political Correctness and Health & Safety have gone totally mad. Common sense has gone out the window at all levels of society.

I suppose it has always been the same throughout time but we are more aware of it now because of technology and the way the Media operates.

I think there is a lot to be said about the BIG Society however I do feel like it is reinventing the wheel and the BS is what we used to have. I just don’t quite know when it stopped happening.

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
