Time To Take A Break

Time to take a break and  get back to BoD like blogging.

I am still astounded at how the Internet and its tools are perceived by some as the big bad web. I suppose it is understandable with the press following the bad news stories.

I suppose what would be an interesting survey is to find out how many people use the web and enjoy using it without any problems.

Admittedly there are some not very nice people on the web but hey that’s the same as in real life the key is to stay away from where you don’t feel safe or something just doesn’t ring true.

I still can’t get to grips with facebook after 4 years of trying I think I can quite definitely say I don’t like it. Twitter has surprised me and I actually find it quite useful.

I like my blog although I never have quite known what I was trying to achieve with it has always been a mixture of personal thoughts and trying to keep my local visitors up to date.

I suppose I have got a bit fed up with blogging about local things I will have to find something else that captures my imagination pondering on what else I can scribble about.

    LoL Well that lasted all of 1 hour, when I realised RA had changed their Olympic Torch wording.;-)

Contact us at:  ewp2010@btinternet.com  or on 07528 595444      Newsletter 12   Welcome to 2013, now the snow has gone it is time to start planning our programme for the year and we hope as many people as possible will join in. The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th  November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Core Strategy Consultation Period Stratford on Avon District

This call for sites is by Solihull MBC and Barrats have responded with the following From the Methodist Church to Earlswood Station From Earlswood Station running in the line of the woods behind Poplars farm behind the Limes and up to Pound Close. Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
