Green Belt Or Open Countryside?

OK OK So I have neglected my blog for a while. I have had different things going on but one of those things has led me to a thought. Some of you may be able to help me. I listened to the following Interview. My mind sort of went off in a tangent.

Mr Boles quite clearly states the Green Belt is protected he wants to keep it ! Good News to Me- However he followed it up with, people will have to accept that we build on some open land.

So my question is to Land and planning Techies

Does Open Land which I presume means Open Countryside have different planning permissions to that of protected Green Belt?
If so does anyone know where I can find the differences

Whilst the media is jumping up and down about Green Belt Land should we not be concentrating on protecting the open Countryside that surrounds the Green Belt.

I think we all probably get mixed up at times.

Two very different things as far as I can tell Green Belt is protected. Open Countryside appears to be fair game to any potential developer.

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
