UPDATE: Earlswood Village Hall Needs Help.

Dear All, I have been asked to share the following by EAFH Residents Association on behalf of Earlswood Village Hall.

As you are aware Earlswood Village Hall is entirely self-funded. We rely on our regular bookings and party bookings to keep going. In the current situation all events at the Hall have had to be cancelled until further notice. This means that we will have no income and our reserves will quickly run down.

How can you help?

If you do any on-line shopping you can help to raise funds for us at NO COST to yourself. You simply need to follow these simple instructions:

Log on to www.easyfundraising.org.uk

When prompted, 'Search for a cause' put in Earlswood Village Hall and click 'support this cause'

You will then be asked to create an account for yourself

When this is done, follow the links to you chosen store and click 'shop now'

All you do then is shop as you would normally do with that shop. We will automatically be given a donation based on your shop.

All of the major retails are on this site ie Sainsbury's, Tesco. Waitrose, B&Q, Next, Amazon etc.

It is as simple as that and it will help to keep the Hall going.

We would appreciate your help in this and, if you feel able, pass this on to your friends and relatives. The more support we can get the better.

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
