Burglary Dwelling

Poolhead Lane Tanworth, at around 1430hrs the owners returned home to see a male described as white, wearing jeans and a blue woollen hat approx 5'8" exiting the house and running towards a small white van parked further down the road. Entry had been gained by smashing a double glazed unit at the rear of the property.

It is believed that a small amount of jewellery has been taken.

Danzey Green Tanworth in Arden, between 0845-1600, entry gained via rear door, no damage reported at present, offenders have made a tidy search of the house. At present it is unknown if any items taken.

There was also burglaries in Wootton Wawen and Claverdon where a small white van has been seen in the vicinity. Details of this van were obtained by a vigilant neighbour and these details are being investigated.

The dormouse, reptile, bat and butterfly surveys will be continuing and we hope to undertake a bee survey as well but if you have any suggestions of the type of activities you would like please get in touch. Dormouse Survey – 10 th November No evidence of dormice was found but we did find a wood mouse nest. This caused a bit of excitement but unfortunately, the nest was empty! Crime Stats Alcester North October 2020

Well as crime has been on my mind for the last couple of weeks and it has always appeared difficult to find any meaningful crime stats. I have at long last found the information used by the Police lurking on the Police.uk website. It is not live data and runs approx 6 to 8 weeks in arrears for example October 2020 is now visible. This is a totally interactive tool, easy to use and has a great dashboard, what is good about this tool it also provides outcomes. The default is for the whole of the Alcester North area however it is simple to find out where the hot spots are and which crimes have been included.
