Police Message Burglary Dwelling The Common Earlswood I nc 318 20/11/2012   Between 1pm-8.30pm offenders have gained entry via the rear of a property on The Common Earlswood. Offenders have conducted a untidy search of the upper parts of the property and taken a quantity of computer items. It is not believed offenders attempted to search the lower part of the property. A neighbour reported seeing a white van reversed on the drive @3.30pm with 2 males seen going towards the property, he believed to be making a delivery, it is possible these were the offenders. Police Message Burglary Dwelling Poolhead Lane Tanworth Posted With Permission Thursday  11th October Inc 164 11/10/12 Between 1115-1415 offenders have forced the locks on a set of patio doors to gain entry to a property on Poolhead Lane Tanworth. Once inside they have conducted an untidy search of the property and removed numerous electrical items from within. Also taken were spare keys to both the property and vehicles which were not at the property at the time. A TV set was left in hallway having been removed from bracket in living area, indicating possibly being disturbed by occupant returning at 1415. Police Message Shed Breaks Earlswood Posted With Permission Inc 202 & 258 23/09/2012 We have had 2 reports of shed breaks along Shutt Lane Earlswood. It is believed the breaks took place @3am Sunday morning. The time was logged by a alarm that was monitoring 1 of the sheds. From this one nothing was taken, however petrol driven equipment was removed from the other. There were reports of a male acting suspicious around the area on Thursday evening, but there was no trace on a area search conducted on Police arrival. Police Message Posted With Permission After a relatively peaceful period, we have had a mini crime wave during Thursday in the Earlswood area. There are enquiries that are on going, we have an image of a believed offender responsible for the crimes along The Common, that has been circulated across 3 forces. The offences unless stated are believed to have occurred along The Common between 2:30 and 3:30 in the morning. Inc 63, 166,210 & 283 6/9/12   Shed's were entered and items of petrol driven garden equipment were removed, there is evidence that numerous other gardens had been entered, and where it was not possible to enter over the neighbouring fence, offender/s used the field to move further up The Common at the rear of properties. A number of other shed's were entered but did not have anything taken. Police Message Theft From Motor Vehicles Springbrook Lane Posted With Permission Inc's 24 & 44 16/08/2012 There were 2 separate thefts from vehicles left on driveways on Springbrook Lane in the early hours of Thursday morning. Both vehicles were reported as being secure. One vehicle had its rear window smashed, unknown how second vehicle was entered as no damage reported at present. Both had items removed from the boot, that were in a bag and not visible. Laptops and personal items were amongst items removed from each vehicle. A number of items from one vehicle were found at various points along Malthouse Lane leading into Small Lane. Please ensure all items are removed from vehicles when left unattended. Offenders have entered via a rear window and conducted a tidy search of the property. A handbag and bank cards were amongst the items taken as well as the keys for a grey Hyundai I20 which was also removed from the front driveway. The owners believe that a previous attempt had been made on the windows 2 weeks prior, and evidence of an attempt on several windows made before offenders were successful. The garage of a nearby property had also had a window forced, but it is not believed entry had been gained. Offenders have entered via a rear door and conducted a search of the kitchen area and not thought to have attempted to enter any other part of the property. Occupant discovered front door keys of the secured house in the lock on the outside of the property. Offenders had taken a laptop, mobile phone,PS3 and handbag from within, and have taken the occupants vehicle a Volvo XC90 registration VK54 DMV. Inc 355 & 370 11/07/2012 & Inc 128 12/07/2012   Between Tuesday evening and 5.15pm Wednesday evening offenders have entered fields at rear of old furniture shop on The Common Earlswood, and entered 2 sheds in separate gardens adjoining said fields. Police Message Burglary Dwelling Tanworth in Arden Inc159 04/05/2012 Attempt burglary dwelling on Vicarage Hill Tanworth.At 1250hrs it is believed 2 males smashed windows at the front and rear of the property in an attempt to gain entry. Resident was in the property at the time, and neighbours alerted Police. It is thought offenders made off when realising property was occupied and fled the scene in a silver Mercedes vehicle thought to be on a 10plate. Police Message Car Key Burglary Earlswood Common Inc 55 27/03/2012 Overnight on Monday/Tuesday The Common Earlswood,offenders have gain entrance via the rear being forced and removing keys for 2 vehicles that were parked on the drive. There were some other personal items taken that were left on a neighbouring garden. One of the vehicles is fitted with a tracker and has been recovered in Birmingham during the day. Stats have shown that car key burglaries and vehicle theft are occurring overnight, whereas house burglary in this area is still predominantly a daytime offence. Opportunists are very much trawling the area, and vigilance is requested, and reporting of vehicles/persons in your area is vital in preventing offenders target our area. Police Message Burglary Dwelling Inc 166 20/02/2012 Poolhead Lane Tanworth, at around 1430hrs the owners returned home to see a male described as white, wearing jeans and a blue woollen hat approx 5'8" exiting the house and running towards a small white van parked further down the road. Entry had been gained by smashing a double glazed unit at the rear of the property. It is believed that a small amount of jewellery has been taken. Inc 230 21/02/2012 Danzey Green Tanworth in Arden, between 0845-1600, entry gained via rear door, no damage reported at present, offenders have made a tidy search of the house. At present it is unknown if any items taken. There was also burglaries in Wootton Wawen and Claverdon where a small white van has been seen in the vicinity. Police Message Burglary Dwelling Tanworth in Arden Inc 300 31/01/2012 Burglary dwelling at Arden Leys Tanworth in Arden. between 0645-1840hrs offenders have forced entry to a upvc door causing considerable damage. Once inside they have used keys inside to gain access to patio doors and entry to main parts of the property. Offenders have used owners own tools to remove TV from the wall, and have also taken computers and other electronic equipment and jewellery. Spare keys for the owners vehicles have also been taken in the theft. It is likely these items would have been loaded into a vehicle either on Arden Leys or on Broad Lane. Police Message Burglary Earlswood I nc 72 22/01/2012   Burglary Shutt Lane Earlswood. Between 1800hrs Saturday and 0820 Sunday, offenders have kicked in the plastic panel on a upvc door at the rear of the property. The offenders have then locked the front door whilst conducting a search of the property, before taking items including jewellery from the address. Also last week there were a number of sheds and outbuildings entered along Shutt Lane with entry to the gardens gained via fields at the rear. Nothing was reported as being taken. Police Message Car Key Burglary Forshaw Heath Inc 23 16/12/2011 At 0500hrs this morning a Porsche was taken from a property on Forshaw Heath Rd Earlswood. 4 offenders were involved in removing the keys from the property before making off towards Dickens Heath. They were seen by a neighbour who alerted Police and the vehicle was seen making off. The vehicle was spotted by officers making the area in response to the call, the vehicle continued to make off before then being involved in a RTC, and the offenders were subsequently arrested. In the vehicle were numerous electronic items which did not belong to the vehicle owner. At 0400 4 males were disturbed in the rear garden of a property on Broad Lane. Police Message Inc 320 21/11/2011 At 1730 hrs on Monday offenders forced entry to a garage at the side of a house on Blind Lane Tanworth in Arden. Three males in a white transit van were seen at the entrance to the property, one male in a bright blue Adidas tracksuit with the logo on the back of the hooded jacket wearing blue trainers forced the door up to gain entry, nothing was reported as being taken, but prior to leaving this male also forced open the electric gate to the driveway, damaging it in the process. Police Message Attempt Burglary Dwelling Earlswood Inc 55 16/11/2011 The Common Earlswood, between 2330-0730 Tuesday/Wednesday offenders have forced the lock and damaged a metal garage door in an attempt to enter an integral garage. Fortunately entry was not gained due to extra security measures on the inside preventing the door being lifted, and no items were reported taken.
